On the forefront:The elegant triangular shape of the Bastion de San luis; the largest of the military batteries forming the mighty wall and behind it: the precious city they still guard

Bahia de las Animas
Literally translates into: "Bay of the Souls", overlooked by the enormous convention center on the left, City Hall on the right and on the background: Bocagrande penninsula, with its spacious beaches numerous hotels and high-rise appartment buildings.

Atardecer Caribeņo
Caribbean sunset from the Bastion de San Luis, the biggest and foremost of the battle units forming the city wall.

Bocachica
Literally translates into "Little Mouth". It's the name given to the narrow channel serving as the only maritime acces to Cartagena Bay since the 1700's when "Bocagrande" (the alternate channel) was blocked. Jealously guarded by a formidable team: Fort of San Fernando, from which this picture is taken, fires in a half moon fashion to the arbour and sails of the ship and Battery of San Jose (across the channel), with its cannons right on the water level, fires to the hull.
